Beautify Puddleby
UpdateThe “Beautify Puddleby” project soon brought a builder and new plantings of trees in Puddleby. It’s hard now to imagine that it truly had no trees as late as about wave 200. – FlemingErevlei – 23 Oct 2002
Citizens of PuddlebyIt has been nearly 12 years since the town of Puddleby was formed, and much has changed. We have seen a great improvement in the number of services in town. Breweries, Bakeries, Casinos, Athletic Fields, and Beauty shops are just some of the many new services that make an Exile’s life more enjoyable. New defensive walls have been built, and while they have seen better days, I have high hopes they will be back in shape soon.
While the improvements in town have been enormous, there has been one thing that has always been neglected and it tugs at my Sylvan soul. Puddleby is devoid of plant life. As a Sylvan born in the forest, the lack of plant life in my new hometown is a depressing thought. While the park is a nice oasis in the midst of all this, the rest of town only contains one tree, a few sickly bushes, and some much trampled grass. I for one would like to see this changed.
Elas Loth’mon Ferindril and friends have begun work on a “Beautify Puddleby” project. The goal of this project is to find ideal places for trees, flowerbeds, shrubbery and any other kind of plant life that would help improve our town. Once we have found best places for plant life, we will handle planting and tending the new plant life. The end result should be a town more pleasing to the eye of all exiles as well as to the many visitors that pass our way.
